On the sales document with Track.DIDO you will get some extra fields. One of the fields is 'Ship to Contact e-mail'.
This e-mail is used for all communication regarding to the shipping process.
When the field 'Ship to Contact e-mail' is empty when you post the sales document by default we will take the 'Sell-to Email' from the sales document and copy this to the 'Ship to Contact e-mail'.
When the document is signed it will be send to:
1. The e-mail set in the 'Ship to Contact e-mail'
2. The e-mail set in the Track.DIDO setup as 'CC e-mail address'
3. The shipping agent if there is an e-mail filled on it (will be BCC address)
Send the document to a pre-defined recipent
When you wan't to predefine that the e-mail with the signed shipment is send to specific a person(s) you can do this by creating a Ship-to Address on the customer card.
Here you can define the standard information for this address. You can fill mutiple e-mail addresses seperated with a semicolon.
When will the document be send?
This depends on the settings in the Interact.DIDO setup.
If you have selected to send e-mail with the option 'Platform' the e-mail will be send right after the merge is ready (somewhere between 5 and 30 seconds after signing).
If you have selected to send the e-mail with Business Central this can take a little longer. It then depends on the synchronization frequency with the platform. By default this is 2 minutes. This therefore means that in this case the e-mail will be send around 2-3 minutes after the document is signed.
Acadon customers (extra option)
Acadon customers have an extra option with the page ' customer dispatch information'
Here you can set one or more e-mail addresses which then will be filled on the salesorder you can put multiple addresses in one field if you separate them with a semicolon .
